Whalers medicine chest, c. 1835

This chest belonged to Robert Jillett, ashore Whaler stationed on Kāpiti Island, New Zealand, 1836-1845.

It was supplied by the Apothecary’s Hall, London, and replenished at Hobart Town, Tasmania.
